About the ACCA
Founded under the Societies Act in 1981, the Alberta Continuing Care Association (ACCA) is a voluntary, non-profit organization representing over 70% of the continuing care industry, including private, non-profit and public sectors of the homecare, designated assisted living and long term care streams.
The Association's purpose is to advance and elevate the status of continuing care by promoting awareness of its needs and potential to government, labour and allied health services, and the community by recognizing the needs of its publics and by providing a strong voice forum for all members.
Members operating under the ACCA umbrella, deliver over 22 million hours of care to over 46,000 clients.

About the CCSA
The Continuing Care Safety Association (CCSA) provides health & safety training and consultation services to industry members across the province. The CCSA works in partnership with Employment and Immigration and the Workers’ Compensation Board to manage the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program and the Partners in Injury Reduction (PIR) Program for the Continuing Care and Seniors Supportive Living industries in Alberta. The CCSA is funded through membership fees, low training course fees, and an industry levy administered by the WCB.
The CCSA assists industry members by providing quality health and safety training and by assisting them in the development of health and safety programs.
